In the Fall of 2002, JD Milazzo and Falcon were at transition points in their lives. The two spent most of that Fall drinking coffee, watching old movies, and most of all, learning everything they could about photography.
“Ever since I saw my first National Geographic, I wanted to be a photographer,” JD has often said. When The House of NyghtFalcon was formed, JD brought that passion with him. Since the company was founded, JD has amassed an incredible array of technical information. “I have never met a photographer who can match JD’s technical expertise,” said Falcon. JD thrives on doing the kind of research that often makes a difference when the firm faces serious technical challenges.
As a professional JD quickly distinguished himself for his artistic view of the world and the technical excellence of his work. He is constantly searching for new ways to express his vision. Nature remains a particular focus of his personal work. JD was the first to experiment with film emulation and other special effects in post processing.
His responsibilities in the firm include:
- production (post processing, image management, and related areas),
- logistics (planning assignments, managing crews),
- training and development of new photographers,
