Is it simply a matter of saying that NyghtFalcon photographers see the world differently? Not exactly. Nothing is simple about the NyghtFalcon style of creativity and vision. In the three years that it takes for a NyghtFalcon photographer to be trained, everything about how he or she sees the world changes.
In our world, space is fluid, time isn’t linear, and a two dimensional device, a camera, can be taught to see three dimensions. And more, we teach our photographers how to experience the emotion of color, the expansiveness of objects in time and space, how to experience the depth and length of a wall, and how to capture that experience via a camera.
In 2009, we changed our “tag line” to “See the World Again. For the First Time” because in fact that is what our work does.
We teach our photographers how to let go of logic and reason and how to embrace and engage their experience of the world. And no. It isn’t just about art for us. In 2009, NyghtFalcon reorganized into divisions. Each division represents a market segment. The fine art print division was the first division. The seminar division followed. Currently, there are six divisions. In December, 2009, NyghtFalcon Photography became The House of NyghtFalcon both to reflect this diversification as well as to stay true to our business model – derived from the fashion industry.
Also in 2009, the firm announced that its seminar curiculum would be re-designed. The firm announced a strategic initiative to deliver content to smart phones. The firm’s 2009 Portfolio was the first application developed for smart phones. NyghtFalcon Academy was established for pros and high end amateurs. NyghtSchool was established for amateurs.
In 2010, NyghtFalcon extended its reach into video and film making when Blue Flame 6 became a part of the House of NyghtFalcon. In mid 2010 NyghtGear was formed to market logoed apparel, one of a kind fashion designs and fashion accessories. The firm's e-store was launched in 2010.
